Approximately 60 min drive from Faro airport. Drive out of the airport car park to the roundabout. Take the first exit (right) off the roundabout and drive for approx 1 mile, remember to drive slowly as you want to take the right turn exit onto the A22 to Portimao. Once you are on this road stay on through several sets of lights until you see a right turn exit for the (A22) Portimao. Take this exit and stay on this road for approx 40min. Take the right turn exit for Lagos, this is the exit just after the services. Follow this road and go straight across the first roundabout, at the next roundabout take the first exit (right). This is the N125 to Sagres you will go through several sets of lights for approx 20 mins until you see the sign (left) to Salema, the turning is just after you see the Inter Marche (Supermarket) on the right hand side. Turn left at the lights then immediate left to Salema follow the winding road down into the village of Salema. When you reach the cobble car park drive to the left hand corner and take a left into the very narrow street. Drive 50 yards then turn left into the apartment car park.

The apartment is located a stones throw away from the beach, in the quaint fishing village of Salema. The village is renowned for its still remaining fishing fleet using the traditional brightly colored boats, a sight which is now rare along the Algarve coastline. You can sun yourself by the pool or rent a beach lounger for just a few euros per day and enjoy cooling down in the turquoise colored Atlantic Ocean. There are a number of small gift shops in the village and a grocery store is located a few doors down from the apartment where you can buy all the day to day necessities. During the daytime and evenings there are a number of beachfront restaurants where you can enjoy seafood caught fresh that day by the local fishermen.
